Barbara Boyer is dedicated to improving the lives of Georgia's residents. She moved to Georgia in 1980. Barbara learned the values of hard work, integrity, and community early on. She began her work life at the age of 14 years as a waitress. She has worked in various businesses while going through school. Barbara has also been involved in various non-profits. These principles have guided her career in both public service and private enterprise, where she has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence and innovation.

Barbara Boyer is in it for Middle Georgia and not herself, she is in it to help her community.

Barbara became a lawyer in 1983. Barbara’s practice was as a litigator in personal injury, insurance, family practice, business and contracts and other general litigation. She is also trained as a mediator. As a lawyer Barbara’s duty is to represent her client’s interests and will do the same for her constituents.  Barbara presently is a member of Boyer Terry LLC law firm. Her husband, Wesley Boyer, also practices with her. Three years ago, Barbara and her husband, Wes opened an antique shop in Macon, Georgia.
