Get to know Barbara Boyer

Barbara Boyer has been dedicated to improving the lives of Georgia's residents since moving to the state in 1980. Starting her work life as a waitress at 14, she embraced the values of hard work, integrity, and community. Barbara has balanced her career in various businesses and non-profits, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and innovation.

A lawyer since 1983, Barbara specializes in personal injury, insurance, family practice, business and contracts, and general litigation. She is also trained as a mediator and currently practices at Boyer Terry LLC alongside her husband Wesley Boyer. Three years ago, they opened an antique shop in Macon, Georgia.

Barbara has a long history of community involvement, including roles with Georgia Legal Aid, the Middle Georgia Food Bank, Historic Macon Foundation, and the Macon Arts Alliance.
